Artist Information
Biography
Since the self-release of their album, GIRL, in March of 2013, they have caught the attention of some music industry professionals and are now working with Planetary Group and Mike Rosen (MegatrendMGMT) to re-release a reworked, deluxe LP in September focusing heavily on college radio.
This release coincides with a 6 week US tour which will include filming for a reality type show concept while on the road.
The Bang Bangs are a diversely talented team of innovative thinkers who consider themselves more of an entertainment company than a band, providing not only a great new album and live show, but entertaining video content and segments, popular merch, and additional music targeted towards licensing.
Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs are lead by Lezlie Deane (Scary Cherry) who brings an automatic fan base from her acting career which includes films such as Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, 976-EVIL and numerous TV appearances. Lezlie was also a member of the controversial band Fem 2 Fem, who scored a top 10 dance hit and toured with NIN, and Marilyn Manson.
Her two musical foils, Mario Tremaine (Minx the Jinx Bang Bang) and Tony Coke make up a triumvirate writing team that should make publishers take notice.
Instrumentation
Lezlie Deane - Vocals
Mario Tremaine - Guitar
Tony Coke - Guitar
David Coke - Bass Guitar
Alan Mallet - Drums
Discography
Their self-released album, GIRL, has just been pulled from US and Canadian markets in order to re-release a deluxe version with the help of Planetary Group. Multiple licensing deals for songs on this album are already in negotiations.
The band released "Limited Edition Ep" (on iTunes) in 2010 which featured 5 songs that garnered airplay in major markets as well as a $5000 first prize Our Stage award for the song "Let's Go" (which has also been featured in a commercial).
They also released a single of The Runaway's "Cherry Bomb" (also on iTunes) in which all proceeds go to Nikki Sixx's charity for runaways.

Setlist
The bands set list ranges from as short as 30 minutes to an hour and a half with mostly original material. The band will pull out occasional covers from artists such as Iggy Pop, The Runaways, as well as an extremely popular cover of "Time Warp".
We normally bring 1 wireless mic and use 3 additional vocal mics (sm58 or similar). Two guitars, one bass (di and/or mic), drums (snare, bass, two toms, 2 crash, 1 ride). For big shows, we prefer to use our own lighting director when possible. We usually bring one tech.
