Biography

Yenisley is a regional touring pop/rock, female vocalist, backed by a 5 piece band. Born in Havana, Cuba, this bi-lingual singer/songwriter has been creating a buzz for sometime now. While maintaining her spanish roots, Yenisley embraces the american dream. She uses her marketable image, dynamic vocal range, and extraordinary stage presence, to captivate audiences of all ages. Yenisley has blended her pop, rock, and punk influences, to create her own original sound consisting of powerful hooks and catchy melodies. Her stage show is full of energy. She has a unique blend of original material, as well as cover songs from some of today's biggest artists. Her band consists of young and energetic musicians, who know how to work a crowd. They combine skill, determination and fun, while creating a passion on stage that leaves a lasting impression with the audience. Big things are in store for Yenisley. Her drive is recognized by her fans and they truly appreciate her loyalty and commitment. Having already planted herself within the southeast region, she is looking to make bigger moves by crossing over to a national audience.   ENGLEWOOD -- Internationally known Cuban-born singer-songwriter Yenisley has been added to the growi...ENGLEWOOD -- Internationally known Cuban-born singer-songwriter Yenisley has been added to the growing Englewood Music Festival lineup.
  
  The all-day festival will be held March 6th on two stages at the Englewood Sports Complex on South River Road. The event will serve as a fundraising opportunity for the area’s three Rotary Clubs. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit The Englewood Youth Foundation, which is responsible for supporting several youth charities, and providing more than $40,000 in scholarships to Lemon Bay High School graduates just last year!
  
  It is fitting that Yenisley will be featured at an event designed to benefit the youth in the community. This 23-year-old singer/songwriter from West Palm Beach left Cuba at the age of three and dreamed of becoming a performer. She traveled and played throughout the United Kingdom as a teen, and, today, performs at several festivals and with other musicians on the East Coast of Florida.
  
  Yenisley's charisma and smile attracts audiences of all ages. She writes and sings in both Spanish and English and her main goal is to conquer both markets. And while she has grown up an embraced the American culture and dreams, she has never let go of her Spanish roots. This unique combination allows Yenisley to effortlessly attract and identify with both cultures. In return, these qualities allow her audience to simply fall in love with her.
  
  Yenisley, scheduled for a 1 p.m. performance on the Main Stage, joins an already-packed lineup of regional favorites including the Greg Billings Band, Saint TONE, Max McCann & The Displacements, Sound Cannon, Beans & Seed, Sound Cannon, and Francesco Maceri.
