Biography

Skyrocket Love is an LA based band, playing a charismatic mixture of pop/rock that can satisfy the ear and win the heart of any music lover.

With Influences such as Muse, Daughtry, Killers and U2, they have managed to maintain a unique alternative rock sound that has people craving for more.

The band has been called "America's answer to U2 and Coldplay" and "Coldplay with an Attitude".

Lead singer Jeremy Bassett and co-writer Merritt Graves came together about a year ago with a dream to create a sound that is relative to all, but unique enough to be their own. Within a year their fanbase exploded on terrestrial and internet radio sites, and an intense committment to fans has helped spark an energetic online grass roots movement.

Their harmonically soaring tracks target emotional situations that have to do with the dark and light sides of being in love, along with the emotional roller coaster you ride while transitioning through life's many changes in this overwhelming world.

Band lineup includes lead guitarist Lucas Guterres, keyboardist Andrew Clay, bassist Curtis Corwin and drummer Jeff Maddox.

The band's name, "Skyrocket Love" refers to the chase of emotional highs that constantly prove all too temporary.

  If you take a look at their music, each song is well constructed and has its own unique feeling. Th...If you take a look at their music, each song is well constructed and has its own unique feeling. They all share this same sad essence or message if you will, but each song has its own identity. Sometimes I have the feeling that melody-wise things could be a tad bit better, but that’s just my opinion. The lyrics are good! Sometimes even very meaningful, I quote: “ Every dream in my head/ Every word that I’ve read/ Everything I have thought, thought but I should’ve said.” [from Save the world.] The lyrics have some truthfulness to them, no nonsense here.
