Biography
Nannick is a native of France who comes from a famous family of classical musicians.She started studying the Classical Repetoire at the age of five. She discovered Jazz and Improvisation in Aix en Provence where she organized and hosted many concerts for Jazz Greats such as Tommy Flannagan, Ray Brown, Tom Harrell and Danilo Perez, among others. She was greatly influenced by the freedom which Jazz provides it's players and the Universal language of Jazz won her heart. Since then she has been performing all over the Bay Area which is her home as well as in France, Iceland, Italy,Greece
and Mexico.
Priscilla was raised in Los Angeles and her main influence was her Father who played the Jazz trumpet. She started studying the bass in Berkeley when she met the late Jay Oliver who became her teacher and mentor.
She is the President of the Nonprofit "Rhythmic Concepts" which produces Jazz Camp West, and owns "Live Oak Recording Studio".
Priscilla and Nannick met at Jazz Camp and have been performing together ever since
