Biography
"Every now and then you come across an artist that just 'Has IT'. Voxology fits that bill. No review will ever be good enough." - The Scene Monthly
Voxology has been honing their craft for 14 years, winning awards and accolades along the way.
Performing 16 times in 14 days at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah was one of their biggest, and certainly coldest, honors. Vonderlin's songwriting has been acclaimed in competitions at the South Florida Folk Festival, the 2010 Susquehanna Music & Arts Festival where she secured one of the top honors, and most recently by the International UK Songwriting Contest.
They've shared the stage with the legendary Doc Watson, Peter Rowan and his Texas Trio, the Grammy award-winning Alison Brown Quartet, Pine Mountain Railroad, renowned folk artist Tom Paxton, country artist Lori McKenna and the highly awarded bluegrass artists IIIrd Tyme Out among others.
Their unmatched harmonies are what set them apart from the ever-growing list of Americana artists. Neidig and Vonderlin are both two-time first place winners at the North Bay Deer Creek Fiddler’s Convention in Westminster, MD, Les winning vocal competitions and Kevin winning guitar and vocals.
They have been featured at music and arts festivals in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Arkansas, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida and Utah.
Voxology's repertoire includes a wide range of musical styles including Americana, Contemporary Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Bluegrass and Country.
