Biography

Island Bound formed in 2006 by a group of friends who played just for fun at backyard parties. Then later offered an opportunity to play for our canoe clubs fundraiser called "Island Nights." We felt the crowd and they enjoyed our music! This is how Island Bound evolved!
We are a band of five who live in the Pacific Northwest residing in the Puget Sound area. We also have youth in our band so we have alot of room to grow, ages varying from 19-23. Some of the featured artist that we cover variates from Bob Marley to Los Lonely Boys as well as our original music. We have opened performance for some record label bands such as Katchafire, Ekolu, Ten Feet, B E T, Anuhea, The Green, Ho'okoa, Koa'uka just to name a few.

Today, our music is being played on pipeline2paradise.com radio and our song "Here to Stay" and "Relax" has been in the Top 7 most equested songs. On the island of Kauai our music is also hitting hard on FM93. You can also find us on TiareFM and Beletnut Radio. Our 1st album EP is ready for download sales via CdBaby, iTunes, Amazon, Napster, etc.

  The featured group this month is that HOT Hawaiian Reggae group called Island Bound! Island bound wa...The featured group this month is that HOT Hawaiian Reggae group called Island Bound! Island bound was created in 2006 to provide music for a fundraiser for their Kikaha O Ke Kai Outrigger Canoe Club. Their music was enjoyed so much by the audience that the group became a permanent fixture in the Pacific NW area (being played on pipeline2paradise.com radio where Island Bound’s “Here To Stay” was #1 on the most requested song list for over 5 weeks). Island Bound continues to grow in the Reggae music area and to perpetuate the native roots (Hawaiian, Samoan, Filipno) of the six musicians who make up Island Bound. The members include Isaiah Chun Fook (Ewa Beach, HI), Justin Sedeno (Ewa Beach, HI), Kawelo Panui (Nanakuli, HI), James Santos (Seattle), Surah Fonoimoana (Laie, HI) and newest member Roman Malaki Brown (Pearl City, HI)!
