Biography
Forged during one of the hottest summers the Puget Sound has seen in recent history, Crush Proof Juicebox was born in June of 2009 when four local musicians welcomed uninhibited creativity.
Vocalist David Olivas and guitarist Brian Rock were founding members of Bremerton WA-based Rap/Rock band Redemption City, which had a run of local popularity from 2007-2009. After the demise of that project, they teamed up with drummer Mason Randles of Monochromatic Stains for several jam sessions that quickly forged a creative bond between the three. After adding bassist Nicholai Crees, who also had spent time in Redemption City, the new project was complete.
Taking advantage of great chemistry, songwriting took off from the get-go with the use of an intense rocking three piece, fronted by a quick-flowing, lyrically driven rapper. Crush Proof Juicebox has within its first several months of existence formed a dedicated local following, received rave reviews and performed in many packed local shows in and around Western Washington's Puget Sound.
With their infectious rocking grooves, inspired lyrical content and explosive on-stage antics, you'll leave every show wanting another serving of Juicebox!
