Biography

Basement Generals, from northern New Jersey, are a
4-piece sonic powerhouse..Influenced by the Grateful
Dead, Phish, moe., Disco Biscuits, and all things
improvisational, the band plays exciting, experimental jam
rock...a bit heavier than your average jamband

The band's style of merging funk grooves, danceable beats, and dark rock sounds results in a psychedelic music soup, tailor made to electrify festival audiences everywhere.

The band has played shows between 2009 and 2012 sharing the stage with notable acts such as The Mickey Hart Band, Dark Star Orchestra, From Good Homes, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Peter Rowan, Conspirator, EOTO, Buckethead, Melvin Seals and JGB, Papadosio, Dopapod, Zach Deputy, Bernie Worrell, Steve Molitz, Eric Krasno, Juggling Suns
