Isaac Davis Jr. of Juniors Cave Online Magazine writes, "Singer/Songwriter Ric Zweig is a special gem in the mix of today's indie artists." Jimmy Rae of Skopemag.com opines, "I have to say that Ric Zweig is not Running Out Of Time by any means. Quite the contrary; this singer/songwriter/classic rock musician is just getting warmed up. With the release of this new record, the music world has a lot to get excited about...this timeless artist has an incredible amount of feeling...we have found a real & true artist here. (4 and a half stars out of 5) Dave Kemler of New Music Tampa Bay says, "Get the scoop on this fantastic singer/songwriter." Carlito of Music Emissions writes in recommending 'Running Out Of Time', "the style is smooth - majestic even; taking you from the lowest of valleys to the high mountaintops...brilliant chorus sections and hooks, as well as thought provoking lyrics complimented by Ric's raspy and bluesy voice." Cyrus Rhodes of Indie Music Digest writes, "...brilliant flashes of bold honesty in the musical & lyrical content that simply can't be faked...Zweig really makes the vocal connection with his singing, songwriting & words that sometimes cut like a knife. The songs themselves are powerful musical experiences, each one possessing unique personality, flair & signature groove...It's a rare find to get this kind of snapshot or music & genuine perspective from an artist. Zweig is one of these brave artists." Cody Blevins of Vents Magazine says, "Ric Zweig is a talented musician and songwriter who embodies a charitable and grassroots style that is all but dying off these days. His newest album, 'Running Out Of Time' is a collection of heartland Americana and smooth pop songs, that make you feel fine, and want to hop in a convertible, or buy one." Brian Lush, the radio host of Rockwired Radio Profiles says, "Zweig is in fact revving up the engine with a collection of songs that honestly analyze the highs and lows of love, life and everything". Rukshan Thenuwara of MuzikReviews.com writes, "Songs like 'Puppet' and 'Shine' sound like radio flavored hits that have cohesive melodies and great arrangements. Alongside these tracks, songs like 'Mr. Good Vibe' and 'What Are We Supposed To Do' are equally catchy and display Zweig's ability to construct songs... praise for Zweig's musicality and considerable vocal ability. Zweig has a grasp on composition that should take him far in his live performances." Jimmy Yell of PyleTown.org opines, "Ric Zweig sings with passion & power...the music is timeless & has incredible feeling". And, Music Editor Russell Eldridge in the Winter 2011 issue of Target Audience Magazine wrote, "If Bob Seger, Tom Petty, and David Bowie were to jam around a campfire you would get an idea of Ric Zweig's music." Prominent Music Consultant Eugene Foley wrote the following in August 2011, "Your music really brightened my day earlier this month and when music can move me like that, I know it's something special."

His newest album Running Out Of Time, is a collection of heartland Americana and smooth pop songs, that make you feel fine, and want to hop in a convertible, or buy one. What makes it even better is that five dollars for each his albums sold will go to The American Cancer Society, so not only do you get a soundtrack to happiness and perseverance, you also may give someone else a chance to fight and persevere. Sounds to me like Ric has made a perfect win-win, situation.
How the band started??
Yours truly was a criminal ct judge for years. One day I got tired of listening to all the lawyer bullshit, and decided to do what makes me happy, music.
What's the message to transmit with your music??
Two messages, first, you're never too old to follow a dream, second music will get you thru times of no money better than money will get you thru times of no music.
What's your method at the time of writing a song??
Got to have a melody first for the verse- lyrics come later. I like to try to make up new guitar chords, when I do; it usually translates to a new song.
Which is your music influences??
Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Radiohead has great lyrics.
What plans do you have for the future??
Future Plans: One day at a time, but have as much fun as possible.
If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere after a show or while on tour. The help is 100 miles away from where you are, who would you send to look for help? And if while the rest wait, there's no food and the only way to feed yourself is by eating each other, who would you eat first?
I would send me, less likely to get lost. I would eat the best looking woman first, but no honeys in the band, so we got a problem.
which country you guys would love to play?
England would be a blast.
With which bands you guys would love to share stage??
Share stage with Van Morrison because I would love to do vocal harmonies with that dude.
Are you OK with the direction you guys are moving?
Things are going absolutely great. So far, the reviews have been terrific, and now being part of VENTS will be one more wonderful thing to have happened for Ric Zweig & The Band.

SiNGER-SONGWRiTER RiC ZWEiG
AND HiS LATEST CD 'RUNNiNG OUT OF TiME'
OCTOBER 5, 2010 - Everyone knows what happens when you play Country music backwards. You get your wife back, your kids back and your job back. If you played singer-songwriter RIC ZWEIG's life backwards, you would give up rock n roll and settle for a career in law. Yes, you read that right! For over twenty years, ZWEIG had a steady gig in the field of law as a judge, prosecutor and defense attorney. It wasn't until the early 2000's that ZWEIG put down the gavel and picked up the guitar and pursued that rock n roll dream that elludes most twenty-year-olds let alone fifty-year-olds. RUNNING OUT OF TIME is ZWEIG's fourth and latest release and while the title suggests slowing down, ZWEIG is in fact revving up the engine with a collection of songs that honestly analyze the highs and lows of love, life and everything.

Running Out of Time
Singer songwriter Ric Zweig releases his fourth album of original material in Running Out of Time. Due to personal reasons Zweig also donates five dollars from each album purchased to The American Cancer Society.
Running Out Of Time is filled with well composed songs that are entrenched in the 1970s, which is pleasant sounding enough. The talents of the production and mastering team in realizing a fully encompassing album is particularly impressive.
Songs like "Puppet” and “Shine” sound like radio flavored hits that have cohesive melodies and great arrangements. Alongside these tracks, songs like "Mr. Vibe” and “What Are We Supposed To Do" are equally catchy and display Zweig’s ability to construct songs.
While there is certain praise for Zweig’s musicality and considerable vocal ability, there is some detraction in the lyrical proclivity on the album. The delivery and cadence of the songs is often times jarring such as on “Jump On My Back” where the stops and starts sound off to the listener. Tracks like “Out With the Tide” and “Lost In The Chase” suffer from similar issues.
Running Out Of Time is a varying album that certainly displays Ric Zweig’s musical abilities. It’s not hard to see why the singer songwriter already has three albums under his belt. Zweig’s has a grasp on composition that should take him far in his live performances, which is a great arena for him to perfect his lyrical prowess for future releases.
Stand Out Tracks: Puppet, Shine, Mr. Vibe
