In 2009, Ric did a 15 minute segment featuring 3 of his tunes and a live interview on Panama's biggest FM Station "Radio Fabulosa" with DJ Ravi J. In March 2011, RZ tunes "Running Out Of Time" and "Puppet" were featured on Acoustic Roundtable.com. on its show 'Writers In The Round'. In May 2011, 2 RZ tunes were added to the playlist at www.PyleTown.org.(Germany) and Ric was selected as a featured artist on the Jimmy Yell Radio Show at the same PyleTown site where "Running Out Of Time" quickly rose to number 1 on their top 20 list. Pyletown.org, also in May, produced a feature video on Ric entitled, "Court Judge Turns Rocker" which appears on their site as well as on 'You Tube'. Just this July, 2011, Ric's brand new social commentary tune, "What's Going On Today" was added to the playlist at Celtica Radio out of Wales, Great Britain. Additionally, the artist signed his first licensing agreement with Audio Fount Music Licensing in May of 2011. This non-exclusive arrangement will hopefully expand the reach of RZ music worldwide. From sales of an earlier CD, Ric raised just short of $3,000 for the South Florida Alzheimer's Association. Sales of the most recent CD have raised in excess of $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Ric has been part of the following compilation CDs: LA Records compilation CD of unsigned songwriters, the Oasis Adult contemporary Volume IX #5 Radio Sampler, and the soon to be released 'Hurricane Healing" CD with Australia's Blue Pie Records.

Ric, a former criminal court judge in Miami, Florida, was previously represented by Rhonda Brilliant of Rainmaker Media Group of Boston, Mass.

  How the band started??
  Yours truly was a criminal ct judge for years. One day I got tired of listening to all the lawyer bullshit, and decided to do what makes me happy, music.
  
  What's the message to transmit with your music??
  Two messages, first, you're never too old to follow a dream, second music will get you thru times of no money better than money will get you thru times of no music.
  
  What's your method at the time of writing a song??
  Got to have a melody first for the verse- lyrics come later. I like to try to make up new guitar chords, when I do; it usually translates to a new song.
  
  Which is your music influences??
  Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Radiohead has great lyrics.
  
  What plans do you have for the future??
  Future Plans: One day at a time, but have as much fun as possible.
  
  If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere after a show or while on tour. The help is 100 miles away from where you are, who would you send to look for help? And if while the rest wait, there's no food and the only way to feed yourself is by eating each other, who would you eat first?
  I would send me, less likely to get lost. I would eat the best looking woman first, but no honeys in the band, so we got a problem.

  England would be a blast.

  Share stage with Van Morrison because I would love to do vocal harmonies with that dude.

For over twenty years, ZWEIG had a steady gig in the field of law as a judge, prosecutor and defense attorney. It wasn't until the early 2000's that ZWEIG put down the gavel and picked up the guitar and pursued that rock n roll dream that elludes most twenty-year-olds let alone fifty-year-olds. RUNNING OUT OF TIME is ZWEIG's fourth and latest release and while the title suggests slowing down, ZWEIG is in fact revving up the engine with a collection of songs that honestly analyze the highs and lows of love, life and everything.

  Singer songwriter Ric Zweig releases his fourth album of original material in Running Out of Time. Due to personal reasons Zweig also donates five dollars from each album purchased to The American Cancer Society.
  
  Running Out Of Time is filled with well composed songs that are entrenched in the 1970s, which is pleasant sounding enough. The talents of the production and mastering team in realizing a fully encompassing album is particularly impressive.
  
  Songs like "Puppet” and “Shine” sound like radio flavored hits that have cohesive melodies and great arrangements. Alongside these tracks, songs like "Mr. Vibe” and “What Are We Supposed To Do" are equally catchy and display Zweig’s ability to construct songs.
  
  While there is certain praise for Zweig’s musicality and considerable vocal ability, there is some detraction in the lyrical proclivity on the album. The delivery and cadence of the songs is often times jarring such as on “Jump On My Back” where the stops and starts sound off to the listener. Tracks like “Out With the Tide” and “Lost In The Chase” suffer from similar issues.
  
  Running Out Of Time is a varying album that certainly displays Ric Zweig’s musical abilities. It’s not hard to see why the singer songwriter already has three albums under his belt. Zweig’s has a grasp on composition that should take him far in his live performances, which is a great arena for him to perfect his lyrical prowess for future releases.
