Stephanie Israelson is a professional recording artist and worship leader from Atlantic Canada. Covenant Award winner "Female Vocalist of the Year" and 8 time nominee, Stephanie's contemporary/pop sound will draw the youngest to the most mature listener as her lyrics convey the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. She comes with a heart of passionate worship & powerful vocals. Stephanie has toured much of Canada and parts of the USA, along with her band or solo, she performs in concert and/or leading worship for various events.
Stephanie has shared the stage with other music artists such as Mercy Me, Article One, Newworldson, Andrew Carlton, The LaPointes, Evangeline Inman and Tammy Trent, as well as worked with several notable ministries: 100 Huntley Street, Lisa Beveer, Shannan Ethridge, Carrie McDonnall, Grace Fox, Doug Horley, World Vision and Girls Night Out Events, Circle Square Ranches, Women of Worth and Its A New Day TV to name a few.
THE JOURNEY...
Stephanie’s music ministry began as a young child, born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, and raised in a very musical family. From the age of 11 into her teen years, her life consisted of traveling, home schooling, and being on-stage by her parents’ side singing gospel music. As a teenager starting out with gospel roots, Stephanie's heart for music ministry and love for God blossomed through the wave of praise and worship music hitting the churches in the late 90's. Steph was the lead vocalist on three of her family’s recording projects, “The Evangels.” Launching into her own musical carreer in the 2000's Stephanie recorded her debut album "Israelson" at Taming Hope Productions in Red Deer, AB, and won the GMA Canada Artist Competition. She was inspired to begin writing songs for her 2nd music project in 2006. The CD “Lead Me There,” produced by Andrew Horrocks of Kitchener, ON, found itself several times on the Christian Top 10 Cancon radio charts, and received three nominations at GMA Canada’s annual “Covenant Awards”. Now as a wife and mother of 4 children Stephanie's new “Worship” project (also nominated several times at the 2010 Covenants) was released in Jan. The CD expresses Stephanie's spiritual desire to go “Deeper Still” in a life of passionate worship and love towards our most deserving and Holy God! You will truly be enriched by the ministry of Stephanie Israelson as she shares from her life experiences through her music.
