Biography
Deep in the belly of the Midwest an Alternative/Hip-Hop artist by the name of Manish Law was born. Definitely a force to be reckoned with, he is blending the sounds of melodic hip-hop with a rock/pop infusion and taking the Midwest by storm with his fresh and unique sound. Hailing from Wichita, KS and Influenced by such greats as Red hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, Devin the dude, Outkast and Eminem, Manish Law delivers a captivating flow with mesmerizing lyrics and versatile rap patterns. A Kansan at heart and lover of many music genres which allows him to let his ”freak flag” fly, Manish Law appeared on the Kansas music scene in 2008 and has since proclaimed himself ” The Keeper of the Plains”.
With 4 projects under his belt in the last 3 years respectively The ManLaw Mixtape, The Day of Wreckoning Album, The Manish Vlawg Mixtape and the newly released VAGABOND the ”free” album; Manish Law’s work ethic is uneasily matched as he is constantly recording new music, rocking crowds, and making himself visible online through his infamous YouTube Video Blogs ”the Manish Vlawgs”. In 2011 Manish law created a remix to the huge single Black & Yellow by rapper Wiz Khalifa to help inspire the Wichita State Shockers Mens Basketball Division 1 team to win the 2011 NIT Championship. He has been critically acclaimed and co-signed by every possible local media outlet in his home of Wichita, KS. The Wichita Eagle, Naked City magazine, Power 93.9(radio) and KWCH news (TV) have all featured Manish Law and continue to support his rise as an artist. He has also gained sponsorships from The House of Schwan (Budweiser), 42 Below Store, Sailors World famous Tattoo shop, Notes & Noises Record Shop, Weightless Clothing and Bray Films.
A few live performance highlights include being the opening act to a great reception in his home of Wichita, KS for Industry Heavy Weights such as Snoop Dogg, Sean Garrett, Baby Bash, Wale, Mims, Mann, Indie giant Tech-9, 2011 newcomer Kreayshawn and performing at such festivals as the LIV-Fest(Wichita,KS) and the Aggiefest(Manhattan,KS). His desire to spread his music has allowed him to tour through such cities as Las Vegas NV, Omaha NE,and Lawrence, Wichita, Salina, Emporia and Manhattan KS. Manish law looks to raise the bar even higher and continue to prove that he is truly an artist of substance as he is gaining a strong and diverse fan base online, in the state of Kansas, the Midwest and soon the world.
