Biography
FONZO is an up & coming artist coming out of Tracy, CA. He has performed all over Northern California from the Valley to the Bay Area & also Reno, NV., He has performed with various Bay Area artists including Big Rich, J.Stalin, Philthy Rich, Stevie Joe (LIveWire Records) & many Central Valley artists including L'Jay of LiveWire Records & the legendary "Mike Torres Band" His, "Hippie Hop", is often desribed as "listerner friendly" & "appealing to an universal audience" & it is also described as being fun, energetic music, that has witty lyricism & at times is comical. His musical catlogue has no limits, some songs are for the ladies, some are for the clubs, & some will give you that "Food 4 Thought" that will make you think. His song "Q T Pie" has been featured on 97.7/98.3's KWIN's UnSigned @ 9 in 2009 & he also had another song played on KWIN "I'm Down Forever" 2011 & then again with "I Love This" in November. FONZO has also had music played on San Joaquin Delta College Radio, 98.5 & SFA College Radio, KSAU 90.1, Nacogdoches, TX., 94.1 KPFA Berkeley CA., 98.5 San Joaquin Delta College Radio & KCSS 91.9 University of California Stanislaus, Turlock, CA.
FONZO has already released a debut mixtape titled, "Hippie Hop:Food 4 Thought Vol.1". In 2010 he released a collaboration with local Tracy producer B. Fresh On The Beat titled; "The Introduction". His solo debut "WestSide Story" is set for an 2014 release as well as a mixtape under the group Hippie Hop w/Aire Rayne titled "Hippie Hop - Hear The Revolution"
He has also been nominated for Best Performer for the 2011 & 2012 209 Music Awards & he has worked with Platinum producer Truman Jefferson, (Representing 93', by 2pac from STRICTLY 4 MY NIGGAZ) & Mike Torres Jr of the Mike Torres Band. He is currently preparing a tour titled Space Jam, that will start during the summer of 2013.
