Biography

Ben Butterworth is me. Piano lessons got boring for me just like everyone else so I picked up a guitar. Over the years I've added more instruments under my belt and I built a drum with my bare hands. I know that there's far too much information out there already on schmucks peddling their love songs, so this is my escape from that... I write about what I know. Some of it might be sappy, but at least I have a voice.

Setlist

My typical set takes off fast and builds on itself. I will write a setlist before a show but I rarely stick to it. Covers range from Al Green to Ween and I generally play somewhere between one and two hour long sets. I get the audience involved by telling jokes, improvisation, and maybe even some vaudeville crooning here and there.
