Artist Information

Biography

The LED is made up of Darren Malley and Stuart Moffat and started in 2010. Their musical backgrounds are both very different.

They met at local music venue The Ironworks where Stuart works and Darren was DJing there doing the clubnight Audiolife.

After a series of remixes under their belt and a distinctive sound of blending their background influences, they created LED masks for performing and within 2 months they had played out at festivals like Go North, RockNess, Wickerman and Belladrum.

In November 2011 The LED won a remix competition for the massive platinum selling track "Sail" by Awolnation which is on Red Bull Records. They also had the remix featured on the film Ultim8 Separation.
