Biography

Angela began sharing her sultry alto voice and her acting and dancing talents with church, school and community audiences since the age of 9. Her love for music, theatre and dance grew into her involvement with local bands, several school/community theatre troupes and choirs. She has received several vocal competition awards and local community theatre awards for her talents.

With her smooth country vocal-stylings and pop/rock musical influences, music critics at SonicSouth recently published that “Angela Reign is poised to put her music where her name is and indeed ‘reign’ over the local crossover scene.”

Angela's music can best be described as ‘Americana,’ but her upcoming album (due out in Summer of 2011) will include everything from powerful love ballads, to sultry blues to hard hitting good ole southern Rock and Roll.

If you get the chance to see Angela Reign live, don' t miss it. She's a total performer on the stage, drawing from her extensive background in both theatre and dance. It's a high-energy show not to be missed.

Angela Reign’s first original single, Chevy (written with Stan Roberts), was immediately picked up by an Atlanta radio station (94.9 The Bull) and was played for 6 weeks as a result of getting thousands of listener votes to keep the song on the air. The air time also created significant exposure and resulted in multiple song-writers, promoters and musicians asking to join the Angela Reign team.

On such song-writer and producer was the talented Wil Hodge. Wil heard Angela sing and asked for the opportunity to write with her and to produce her next album. The result is Angela Reign's I Color You Angel album, of which this is the title song.

  Stan was a successful vocalist, guitarist and songwriter in Nashville for several years. Stan almost retired from the music business until he joined forces with Harmony Reign several months ago.
