Biography
Willcopen are a talented four piece indie-pop/rock band featuring Joshua Fisk-Peake on Lead Vocals/Rhythm guitar, Daniel Cooper on Lead Guitar/Keys, Andrew Trendell on Bass, and Nick on Drums. The band's debut single “You Got It! (Hope is Your Friend)” is receiving high-rotation radio play on radio stations around the country including Brisbane's Triple M 104.5 and B105! In recording the single Willcopen teamed up with renowned Brisbane based producer Caleb James. The result? A creative blend of pop and indie-rock.
Drawing on the individual members’ diverse musical experiences, Willcopen’s live performances showcase impressive lead vocals accompanied by exciting drum and bass grooves and guitar tones reminiscent of the greats.
The breaking news is that Willcopen have been selected to perform on the bill with Powderfinger and Jet at the Caloundra Music Festival later in 2010!
