Biography
My belief is that all creatures of Mother Earth have a soul, not only man, and that no race, gender or religion has more rights or is superior to another. These spiritual issues concern many people all over the world and this CD is dedicated to them. These soundscapes were inspired by living close to Nature, respecting her laws and worshipping her beauty. Born in Mozambique I have been working as a volunteer in Africa with local communities, wildlife sanctuaries and musicians all my life, and my experimental tracks obviously show those ethnic and organic textures mixed with America, European and Asian musical influences. May these chill-out rhythms infuse you with a sense of freedom as you sit back and listen.
Instrumentation
Mwana sings, plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and all digital programming.
Discography
My first and only album SOUL CREATURES has been independently released this year through CdBaby. Five of my songs have been playing at Jango Radio.
