Influenced by 70's, 80's, and 90's rock, pop, alternative, indie, and Latin musicians/bands.

John's father was a hobby photographer who played the trumpet, guitar, mandolin, electric bass, and introduced John to American big band, golden classics, boogie woogie, jazz, and pop music of his era. His mother strummed a few songs on guitar, played some piano, painted on oil canvas, and introduced her son to her country’s (Mexico) golden classics, pop, rock and roll. Both parents are alive and continue to play their instruments of choice.

John’s father owned vintage analog recording equipment which John experimented on to learn how to write and record original music as a young teen while he played bass guitar at church then electric guitar with his rock band during the week. As a high school graduate, he wrote many songs, learned how to improve his guitar skills, then formed various rock/indie/alternative bands and traveled from the 1980’s until the 1990’s.

In October 2012, John released his first independent short film release which he wrote, directed, produced, and created all music for, titled “Indian Creek Run”. Based on true experiences. This film can be seen at www.Indian-Creek-Run.com It includes music from John’s new soundtrack/new age release “Passion Grooves”.

In 2010, John created, produced, and currently hosts one of middle Tennessee’s most popular video cast arts & music entertainment show at www.VivaNashvilleUSA.com
