Biography

Since their formation in early 2010, “Becoming The Ghost” has dominated their local music scene and built a strong local fan-base in the process. The band consists of 4 veterans of the New Jersey music scene, all of whom have toured nationally alongside major artists and carry individually an audience of their own.

Daring to not stick with one specific genre, this band is creating a fresh sound, and defining a new era of "feel-good" alternative rock, fusing rock and blues, with an array of ambient soul, and elements of jazz, to create one sound.

With their singles “Veronica,” “You Learn the Hard Way,” and “Mourning Coffee,” the group has done extremely well on internet-based radio stations, earning regular rotation on Rukus Radio and Jango.

The band’s live shows are energy packed and emotional; a very up close, and personal experience for the fans which you can find singing the lyrics back to the band at any given performance.

This group definitely has what it takes, the time has come for mainstream music fans to become aware of this New Jersey-based group’s boundless ability.

Currently Becoming The Ghost is playing endless amounts of shows in support of their current EP titled: "Dear Elsa, I Never Told You…"
