We are Fly Baby, bringing you love and music from New York City. We’re four friends who want to have a good time. We are New York City kids who met through school and the local music scene. We’re always listening, always writing, always creating. If you open up our phones they’ll be at least a page of lyrics, lines, chords, beats, or subway directions.
We're bringing pop, groove, and dance back to the alternative indie scene. Our four unique personalities make up our fresh and young sound: synths, disco beats, edgy guitars, soulful vocals, harmonies, pop hooks, raps, groovy bass.
The band consists of Grace Ives, Clay Curtis, Blu Detiger, and Rex Detiger. Grace Ives and Clay Curtis will stun you with their sexy beautiful voices. When regaining consciousness after the vocals, you’ll notice the crazy buzzes and bleeps from the synth and soaring complex guitar parts. If you’re that person who checks out the rhythm section first, then you’ll notice the bass prodigy Blu Detiger. She lays it down, baby. And let’s face it; she looks too cool on stage. Most likely next to Blu would be her brother and the drummer Rex Detiger. If his fat beat doesn’t turn your head, his raps will make you go “OH S***!” Then you’ll step back, take a look at the whole thing, and hopefully dance…or at least bop your head a little (come on this is Fly Baby!).
We love a poppin’ audience and have the time of our lives on stage.
