Biography
Cory Jordan Wayne Smith was born in Redding California on June 24th 1990, his name comes from too origins Jordan as the river in the bible and Wayne from his Grandfather. Growing up his passion for art wasn’t jut focused on music he give credit to poetry and from there his talents manifested into song writing. Jordan’s Wayne’s style isn’t quite like any other lyricist you come across. Instead of speaking about the stereotypical subject’s he uses clever punch line and metaphors to expand the listener’s ears outside the box.
His delivery helps explain the meaning behind the story even though he was raised primarily in California; he attended high school in Killeen Texas at Robert m shoemaker. Jordan Wayne is an artist with a bright future, who loves all genres of music. When asked how would you describe your sound? Jordan Wayne responded with a cheerful verse “ I try and create crack you Know give life to these tracks which they feed off like stereo Simi lack, I couldn’t label my music to just one sound For the simple fact I find it changes with the inspiration I gain, its more then a hobbies it’s a life project.
Jordan Wayne just dropped his debut mix tape tittles “Coolville DC “ which has contains his new single “Changed On Me”. During this time he is working on his next mix tape “Ides Of March “ which is schedule to be released march 15th of 2011 and hosted by DJ New Era. He also has Coolville collaboration with fellow Child Hood artist Cali black and a summer tour to kick off the beginning of June. He finds inspiration in his everyday surroundings. He Believes music is a way to describe a story or a view one to others, he just isn’t a lyricist, poet, or humanitarian he is the new breed of music.
