Biography
Caleb McGinn is mid-western born singer/songwriter with a sound similar to John Mayer, Mat Kearney, Joshua Radin and Matt Nathanson. He started writing music a few years ago when he missed his flight home from London. Deciding to make the most of it, he bought a guitar, wrote his first couple of songs, and even played at a few London venues. A trip that also included running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain!
Since then, Caleb recorded his first full production EP in Nashville, TN with producer Jeremy McCoy (The Fray, One Republic, James Morrison). The EP has garnered attention from music fans across the world. It even landed him as a Top 10 finalist out of 17,000 entrants in a nationwide singer/songwriter competition sponsored by Guitar Center. A few of the tracks on the EP have also won some major songwriting competitions including the International Acoustic Music Awards and the Song of the Year competition.
Caleb writes music that relates to people in their every day life. His songs have been inspirational to many people that can identify with his personalized lyrics and catchy hooks. His live show is very entertaining as well as he has been known to call people from the audience up on stage or carry on a conversation with them right in the middle of a show!
