Artist Information

Biography

LOW LIGHT plays a hard driving, no-frills brand of rock, inviting comparisons to THE FOO FIGHTERS and THE ALKALINE TRIO. Bassist Joe Sarnicola and drummer Nate Kalish provide the steady, driving backbone that is the heart of LOW LIGHT's brawny, indie rock sound, over which guitarist Matt Ellis lays down efficient leads and octave chord riffs. Meanwhile, singer/guitarist Mike Riley's nimble voice lilts hauntingly above the mix with a grace reminiscent of Jeff Buckley or Thom Yorke. The band's powerful stylistic simplicity provides an excellent vehicle for their continued musical growth. ---Dale Wicks, MUSIC REVUE MAGAZINE
