Lucid Dementia

Genre: Metal
Secondary Genre: Goth Austin, Texas USA Contact

Lucid Dementia is an intensly, dark theatrical band led by a 6 foot tall alien creature puppet. Lucid Dementia sounds like a cross between Marilyn Manson & Nine Inch Nails as if it was performed by the Muppets freaking out because someone slipped caffeine into their kool-aid.

Artist Information

Biography

The legendary Lucid Dementia performance is a cross between a b-movie slasher flick, a David Lynch film, and a children's puppet show gone horribly wrong. You have to see it to believe it.
"I don’t know quite what I was expecting, but quite frankly, I was blown away!!! this band is great! They’re goth, punk, and tight as hell. I couldn’t stop pounding my feet and bobbing my head. I defy you not to get off!"
-John Aielli, KUT radio 90.5FM –OCT 2007
Lucid Dementia is currently playing live in support of their newest self released cd, "Trickery".

Setlist

A typical set is about 50 minutes long = about 10 songs. We have enough material to play 120 minutes, but we are a high energy show, and audience members heads have a tendency to explode after an hour of us.
As for covers, we can work up special requests if we have at least 2 weeks advance notice, otherwise we don't usually play them.
