Biography
Lisa's resume includes the critically acclaimed Celtic Fringe as well as several years with the Rollins College Chapel Choir, from which then co-worker Gerry Wolfson-Grande plucked her and asked her the immortal question: "Wanna play in a band?" Lisa combines her classical and jazz training with her love of the western Scottish home of her ancestors to produce a unique musical style, including her own original songs.
Although any possible Celtic roots are lost in the mists of time, Gerry, a former classical violinist who suddenly found herself singing in the Rollins College Chapel Choir, has managed to involve herself in Celtic music for over twenty years, including competitive Scottish fiddling as well as Celtic Fringe and A Bevie of Scots. Gerry is primarily responsible for the majority of the group's arrangements, and occasionally manages an original song or two. She has also collaborated on several of the group’s original compositions, contributing lyrics to Lisa’s haunting original tunes. Our specialty is close, almost interchangeable harmonies applied not only to existing Scots-Irish songs but to our original music in the Celtic style.

Setlist
Our sets tend to be anywhere from 50 to 75 minutes, depending on the venue and the audience; if everyone's having a great time, dancing away, we'll go for the longer set! The songs include traditional Irish and Scottish vocals and instrumentals; songs from the newer Scots-Irish folk sound such as the Clancy Brothers, Capercaille, Cherish the Ladies, Dougie McLean and Silly Wizard; music with a New Age, ethereal sound; and our own original songs.
