Kari May began her singing career in 2006. At this time, she participated in school musicals and church dramas. She eventually became a soloist and Youth Praise and Worship Team Leader for her local church. By 2008, she was asked by the Palmyra Area High School athletic director to sing the National Anthem for home sporting events. In July of 2009, she participated in various competitions at the International Model and Talent Association Convention in New York City for acting and singing. While preparing for her competitions, she met Dan Fordham of Zone Records and, upon returning from New York City, she entered into a contract to write, record, and produce her first Album with Zone Records. In July 2010, Kari May released her first album, Hold Me Close.
Kari May is an aspiring young artist. At the age of 15, Kari recorded her first album, Hold Me Close. Shortly after her 16th birthday, Kari met with Jerry Cupit of Cupit Music Group and is in the process of looking for investors to help her get started with the group! After recording her first album of mixed genres, Kari has decided to concentrate on Country Music
