Biography
“Boho Chapeau” is the music of singer/songwriter Kevin Quinn.
A native of Los Angeles, Kevin has taken the multi-cultural aspects of growing up in Southern California and crafted them into colorful vignettes of the American Experience.
He defines Boho Chapeau as, “100% pure vibe”.
His songs are akin to dreams. Some are poignant, some surreal and puzzling. Others are downright silly but they’re all fueled by genuine heartfelt emotion. They cover a full range of life’s experiences from the dark and desperate moments of isolation, to the lightness and intimacy of true love.
The sound is earthy and natural with an artsy edge, and always comfortably performed with what Quinn calls, “perfect imperfection”. “It’s like an old hat that just fits”.
What do Vince Gill, Robin Williams, Zac Efron, Betty White, and Kermit the Frog have in common with Boho Chapeau?
They’re all on a long eclectic list of artists who have recorded songs co-written by the Emmy nominated Quinn. Over the coarse of a twenty-year career, his material has been featured in television, film, commercials, and on recordings all over the world.
Boho Chapeau’s debut album titled “Shadow’s of Another Time” was released in 2011 to rave reviews.
