Biography

Radiola are a bunch of passionate musicians based around the Paisley and Glasgow areas of Scotland, UK. Radiola’s musical influences include the raw energy and melody of Neil Young, the lyricism of Bob Dylan, the fearless songwriting of Wilco and the avant-garde stylings of Jim O’Rourke. The music is probably best categorized as alt-country or alternative Americana but neither genre would really do justice to their sound.

Radiola is based around the songs of singer/songwriter David Muir who has been writing songs since his first band The Shuffle. Since then his songwriting has become more personal and daring as he attempts to make sense of his complex brainbox.

The Late Parade EP was Radiola’s first cohesive recording project which is a meld of melody, noise and classic songwriting in the mould of their influences.

Radiola have been receiving rave reviews since broadcasting on Jango radio last year.
