PRESENT TOUR
The Southern California based group 200 WEST is currently on their National Tour with 44 shows in 21 states, including Canada, Florida, New York, and Austin Texas’s SXSW, where they instantly became recognized as a band on the verge of stardom.

SUMMER TOUR
In 2 months, 200 WEST will kick off their “Orange in Hindsight” tour (named after a track on their 2nd Album “The Metropolitan Sessions”) with a trip back to their inspiration, the Summer.

200 WEST is well known for their laid back beach and sun sound with a style often compared to high energy bands like Incubus and 311, to the chilled out vibe of Bruno Mars and Jason Mratz. One thing’s for sure, audiences all around the country have been amazed by this break out band and beginning this June, 200 WEST will bring summer into any room and transform any hot summers day into a cool summers night.

HISTORY
In 2006, 200 WEST released their debut acoustic E.P. , “Let’s See Where This Takes Us” , the simple 5 track E.P accumulated over 25,000 downloads and would lead to a countless number of shows over a span of several years. In 2011/12, living amongst the cables, amps and many musical instruments for months on end, 200 WEST emerged from the studio with 2 musical accomplishments, “The Season” and “The Metropolitan Sessions”, both available on iTunes and Compact Disc.

  What’s old is new again, and such a statement could be applied to that of acoustic/rap/rock hybrid 2...What’s old is new again, and such a statement could be applied to that of acoustic/rap/rock hybrid 200 West, an Inland Empire duo-turned-trio-turned-eventual quintet.
  
  
  
  That’s ‘cause 200 West began some four years ago, as the duo of guitarist/vocalist Chris Galarze and guitarist Danny Lorigo launched as a simple acoustic pairing, after connecting as friends in high school.
  
  
  
  However, fast forward through the band’s hypothetical home movie and the history of 200 West scans into 2010 (after adding vocalist Jon Pacheco and bassist Greg Galarze), where the ensemble gets its latest launch via the addition of drummer Adam Cordova.
  
  
  
  “While most people use cameras to document their lives, we always have written songs that represent an audio ‘picture’ to capture our life story,” says Chris Galarze.
  
  That story unfolds into a blend of the aforementioned genres, unraveling a unique yet moderately familiar setup where comparisons to a mellow Sublime and a chilled-out Red Hot Chili Peppers wouldn’t be far off.
  
  
  
  “All five of us have a plethora of musical influences and whenever we jam or write together, we each let those show in our music,” says Chris. “When writing, we generally try not to stick to a formula or script, we let whatever sounds good take over. All five of us are very open to studying different genres of music and when one of us has an idea for a song we each add our own flavor to the music. The majority of us in the band are classically trained musicians who also have a lot of experience performing in jazz ensembles, so I feel that the ability to play off one another's instruments has helped us develop our sound.”
  
  
  
  And the development continues as the band’s recording a new EP set for a December launch. Plus, they’ve been landing solid gigs, including this week’s stop at The Wire, a familiar stage for the fivesome.
  
  
  
  “Our music is very personal to us and to see other people sharing in our experiences and partaking in the music contextualized this entire musical journey,” says Chris. “It begins as five best friends jamming and writing music together and it's the people, the crowd that reinforces the passion and love we have for the music.”
