Biography
Lonely Playground is a band from Austin, TX, led by 15-year old songwriter Etienne Alonzo. They have received a good amount of exposure playing at social events and small venues such as The Parlor, Red Eyed Fly, and Kick-Butt Coffee.
The band recently completed music on promotional videos for Clay Imports and the Mexic-Arte Museum.
This month, an 10-track album was released released online at various stores such as iTunes and Amazon. Everything is completely self-recorded, giving a new meaning to the term: DIY.
A wide variety of bands have influenced Lonely Playground, including Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Beck, Daniel Johnston, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Joy Division, Bad Brains, Talking Heads, The Ramones, The Doors, Gorillaz & The White Stripes.
