Blending traditional Celtic playing skills, and a great mix of musical backgrounds, The Nellys have created a fresh new sound that's blended with enough commercial edge to be instantly recognizable, always engaging, and appealing to fans of all ages. Biography

The Durty Nellys acquired their unique handle from a Pub of the same name located in the shadow of Bunrhatti Castle, County Claire, Ireland. There sits one of Ireland's oldest and most renowned pubs. So impressed with the establishment they were not hesitant when it came time to name their band!

Expanding on the traditions of Celtic music in the region The Durty Nellys true mandate is to insure that the music of our folk is kept alive and well for future generations to learn and enjoy. If we cause thousands to overindulge in the joy that accompanies the mass consumption of distilled and malted beverages, than so be it! We want our audience to have a dandy time, and walk away knowing they have witnessed something special! GIVER!!
