Biography
Death Prizm is S Chalmers.(aka Jeff Stone) founding member of the Garage/Metal , and now defunct, Whorses, and The Sweet Fuck All (which spawned Ladies Night, SexChurch and Vancougar - Vancouver scene staples), as well as,currently splitting his time in L.A.'s glitter/glam outfit Hallmark.This dark horse, and identical twin, fixes cars and synths,when the ink refuses to flow.Inspiration comes from Cinema, and especially ,lately, Von Trier's AntiChrist which was sampled for his EP release "Chariot Containing Life".As for his sound, In his own words, Thalia Zedek(of Come,Uzi) and fellow Vancouverite , Stefan Udell , of the Beans, share equal responsibility for his unique spastic country,blues that is created by this quiet man. Composer Angelo Badalamenti,Mick Turner,Phillip Glass, and Goblin are also heavily referenced.
