Biography
Roots Rock Reggae That Lifts The Soul
Patrick Ramdat has been part of the reggae scene for many years. He has played the bass, managed musicians, written songs and produced recordings in his own studio.
In July 2006, he decided the time had come to form a band. Joined by his talented wife and daughter and some of the best reggae musicians in the business, he started TALLAWAH.
Girl Power
Whoever said that women don't run a show? In Tallawah they pritty much run- and put on- the entire show. While Oilivia indefatigably pushes the bass riddim to new heights, Lady Joan and Sista Benji contribute vocal perfection and a sweet sense of melody. A trip for the ear and a feast for the eye.
Repertoire
Tallawah plays it's own rebel compositions as well as cover songs, ranging from dub and rocksteady to ska. Ultra-rich beats innna rub-a-dub style. A truly unique and very distinct sound based on roots reggae with a modern twist.
Reggae In Your Veins?
Patrick is always looking for talented musicians. If you've got what it takes, he'll give you every oportunity to show what you've got. Tallawah is regularly joined by a younger generation of reggae musicians - guaranteed to raise the roof !
