Band Bio
Burden of Proof is a three-piece indie alternative rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. In 2001 the band formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan and relocated to Los Angeles two years later. Since then they have performed in countless venues throughout the US, including The House of Blues, The Viper Room and The Roxy. Their sound is described as bipolar rock with fast to slow and loud to quiet progressions that are dynamic and emotional. Themed lyrics about pain, depression and addiction are intertwined with multiple part harmonies. Song ideas are derived from individual experiences and observations of their diverse surroundings. Neil Gall fronts the band on vocals and guitar, Dan Cascio plays bass & keyboard and Nathan Gall (Neil's identical twin) plays drums and sings back up. The band has recorded two LP's and three EP's throughout their career including Verge Of Sanity LP (2001), American Eyes EP (2003), Consumption EP (2005) and Moonstruck LP (2007). At Sunrise EP (2009) is the bands latest release and is available on I tunes.

The band spent most of 2006, 2007 and 2008 on the road consisting of both national and regional tours in support of their aforementioned records. Shows spanned across the country from San Diego to New York as well as Detroit to Houston and everywhere in between. The past two years the band has been in the studio writing, producing and recording new songs/demos in which they plan on releasing soon. The band plans on touring heavily throughout 2010 into 2011.

The Burden of Proof has released Verge of Sanity, and Moonstruck LP's have had great success in the Los Angeles area catching the attention of Faster Than The World Magazine and extensive radio play on K Roq 106.7 in Los Angeles. Their latest EP, At Sunrise is now on internet play by Sportlight Records, a Columbus, Ohio based Promotion/Public Relations Company.
