Biography
No Soap Radio originally met and formed in high school, performing at various local charity events and paid shows, all sharing the same passion-- creating unique music.
Since their humble beginnings, however, No Soap Radio has gone on to place 2nd in Exposure Music Festival, 3rd in the Boston Battle of the Bands 2010 and frequents venues like Berklee's Red Room at Cafe 939, the Middle East, Boston University, Acton Jazz Cafe, All Asia, and the Market Lounge in Boston.
NSR consistently brings pure passion and thoughtful song writing to the table and always tells a story and delivers a message. Based in Boston, MA, the band integrates the genres of alternative/indie rock and jazz/R&B to produce a distinct new sound; between incredible instrumentals, powerful vocals, and insightful lyrics, No Soap Radio is emerging as one of Boston’s sharpest new bands with a strong local following.
Seeing the band live is an unforgettable experience, whether you’re jumping and screaming along with them every show or hearing their sound for the first time. When they aren’t meeting up for a burger session at Wild Willy's, the crew is hard at work hammering out new songs and loving what they do.
