Mahadev lives to communicate the heart of music that exits beyond and transcends boundaries of country and genre. The members of Mahadev are highly trained musicians, composers and improvisers who also have shown great openness and sensitivity to music of various cultures and are able to evoke that organically. The members of Mahadev have studied with world-class masters and innovators of North Indian, jazz, Persian, African and Balkan music, and understand the common language that can be shared by these great musics.

Mahadev (self-titled debut album)
Mahadev can perform for several hours. A typical set would touch on music from several parts of the world, and would include 50-70% original music. The set would be designed to have a balance of high energy, catchy music, balanced with the deep and profound. Throughout the set, there would be individual and group improvisation reaching to ecstatic heights and to introspective depths.
