Biography

Chandra is the former lead singer of the SOS Band and has recorded and toured with Roy Ayers. Ms. Currelley was the featured soloist in the #1 hit movie "Diary of a Mad Black Woman"(Lionsgate). Her music is influenced by R&B, Jazz and Gospel with an energetic vitality! Along with her dynamic band featuring on bass, Anthony "TC" Cunningham (Kelly Price, Toni Braxton), on drums, Marcus Williams (SOS Band, Isaac Hayes) and guitarist, Derek Scott (Gerald Albright), together they create an exciting experience that transcends all genres. Ms. Currelley's music from her days with the SOS Band, Roy Ayers and others makes her shows most enjoyable, delivering soulful hit songs and original music from her 3 solo CD's "Relationships", "The Real Me" and "Love Songs".

Chandra's solo CD's are "Relationships", "The Real Me" and "Love Songs", top sellers on CDBaby, iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon. The hit single "Love Again" from the movie "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" is the favorite.
