The Pearls are NYC based, high energy, hook driven rock band. Their music reflects a fast paced lifestyle. Its danceable and fist pumping with nothing hipster or heady about it. It's been a long time since I've seen a band embody the "whats coming next" trend, as much as The Dirty Pearls. Our office also hasn't seen a bands word of mouth following spread this quickly. People are starving for good old fashioned rock n' roll. The Pearls have been FEATURED ON FEARLESS MUSIC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggmuJB_EFZM They set the RECORD FOR THE FASTEST SELL OUT EVER OF THE BOWERY BALLROOM in NYC, one of our most prestigious venues with a 550 person capacity. The record was PREVIOUSLY HELD BY AMY WINEHOUSE. This past year, The Pearls OPENED FOR ANDREW W.K., KISS AND VINCE NEIL all with no agent or label. They recently also managed to be FEATURED on the 101.9 WRXP (NEW YORK'S #1 ROCK STATION) 2010 MOST DEFINITIVE ROCK COUNTDOWN with Matt Pinfield The Dirty Pearls have really become the artist's favorite with their most recent gig drawing LADY GAGA, JOAN JETT, MADONNA and KATHY VALENTINE. Joan Jett, Madonna, Lady Gaga and even Go-Go Kathy Valentine headed to Don Hill's in SoHo over the course of the evening to celebrate with the 101.9 RXP deejay and his manager Alicia Gelernt. The reclusive Jett rocked out to "Max is King." Gaga, in a tall fur hat, dug the Dirty Pearls and Madonna arrived fashionably late — and seemingly alone — but looked relaxed and quite at home at the shindig.
