MPEEZE AKA NAPCITYS FINEST

Born in Grand Rapids, MI; raised in Indianapolis, IN Marques (MPEEZE AKA NAPCITYS FINEST) Presley has a unique story to tell. He always knew his first love was music, but those dreams were put on hold to football for many years. He played football from grade school to college until getting hurt and battling injuries in the 2005&2006 seasons. That’s when his life changed.
Going thru tough life situations other then getting hurt, he studied abroad in Florence, Italy in the spring of 2007 to get away from the regular and to find out who he really was. Being overseas and traveling the world made him realize his love for music had never left. He started back writing songs from when he stopped as an adolescent due to sports.
Coming back from overseas, he would consistently write and recorded his first song, “Wanna Be” in 2007. Being a solo artist and not really knowing anyone in the game, he had to take matters into his own hands. He recorded plenty of songs until going back overseas to London where he did his first performance in March of 2009.
After coming back from overseas again, MPEEZE was addicted to the stage and has performed in many different venues such as; Cloud 9, The Caribbean Village, and Bentleys Bar and Grill to name a few in 2010. Even though the road has been tough, MP is hungry and is ready for whatever else God has in store for him.
He feels like music and word of mouth is so powerful that some people just don’t know. He feels like he doesn’t rap, he tells you how he feels. Music has changed so drastically over the years in the fact that some rappers lie about what they did or have done in their lives. They go by the motto of, "fake it till you make it", and that is not what MPEEZE stands for. He stands for motivation and ambition. He talks about where he wants to go and where he’s been. He wants people to know that he’s here to stay and not just a fad that will go with the wind.

I just released a CD on iTunes. I am heavy in the underground scene in Indianapolis, IN. I am releaseing three more mixtapes in March, April, and May of 2011. Also, six videos off of those mixtapes. I am on youtube and Jango.com (internet radio), where I have released 4 songs off of the mixtape, "Look What Cha'll Done Made Me", "Tryina Hit a Lick", "Brightlen", and a Freestyle.
