John Batley is well known as a guitar instrumentalist and singer/ songwriter. His musical influences are as diverse as Ry Cooder, Mississippi John Hurt, Rev Gary Davis, Fred Mcdowell, and countless others. His personal style consists of a blend of blues, country, folk, rock, and jazz. John often performs solo, however more often than not is joined onstage by the brilliant percussionist; Josh Payne. Josh's style of playing is expressive and exciting. They have performed together since early 2006.
