Biography
Bunk Onion is an original band playing a unique blend of Alternative/Rock/Punk.
BO was started by Mick & BugZ in 2000. Mick was in a cover band called Fender Bender but when he broke his knee he decided to start an original band instead. It just so happened that long lost cousin BugZ decided to move back to Colorado that very same year (lost in Texas and translation). As little tykes BugZ & Mick were great friends but had ultimately lost contact when BugZ ventured to Texas to become a cowboy. When BugZ & Mick met up after these years Mick had a feeling that BugZ could play the guitar for some reason. Not only could he play the guitar but BugZ was a righteous rock 'n roller! Mick's brother in-law David invented the name "Bunk Onion". While walking in the forest one day he tripped over a little green frog & the band name Bunk Onion struck his brain like lightning! Enter the Drummer: Bunk Onion was not quite complete until the tenacious, twisted, & terrifically talented Sid became an official Onion. So now we are finally ready to take on the world!!!
