Biography
Our Story. The beginning consists of a girl who meets a boy, through the gathering of many people to experience music for three days straight. A year or so later, they decide to meet and play music themselves. As they discovered their similar musical tastes and influences, they continued to meet. (Our influences ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Doors.... even Billie Holiday, Etta James, and James Brown to The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, and The White Stripes.) They began to write songs and realize they had potential. After playing a few shows, they decided they needed the tasteful drumming of another. Not too long after, he was found. The sound elevated to a whole new level...and the formation of the band was complete.
And so it is, Matthew Tunney, Cori Elliott, and David Halicky are THE VIM DICTA.
