Biography
as if trio plays improvisational instrumental music which may draw on jazz, blues, and improvisational rock forms. Period influences (circa '59 - '69) and new music which reflects that school are our models. Jams of the Grateful Dead and original Allman Brothers; tunes from Pat Martino, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane; contemporary music which reflects these directions, or any quality music which engages the lads would be considered influences. As in “influenced by” not “sounds like”.
While not a full time, pro band, as if trio is serious about playing quality music and delivering quality improvised instrumental music at our select performances.
