Biography

Ninja Monkey is a band from the Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand, playing original pop/rock music. Their sound is fresh and upbeat with ripping guitar licks and strong female vocals.

Having debuted in May 2010, at Napier’s iconic Cabana Hotel, Ninja Monkey hasn’t stopped to take a breath. They have become a Cabana favourite, playing regularly at muso nights, opening for local and touring bands (such as Tiki Taane, I Am Giant, Dane Rumble, Shotgun Alley, Ivy Lies, Mile High, Invader Cain, Decortica, Engine Three Seven, Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!, Valve) and are now headlining their own gigs.

Wowing audiences with their unique pop rock sound, Ninja Monkey go from strength to strength with each new song they compose and are now transporting their songs from stage to CD with the release of their debut EP.
