Firmly rooted in southern rock, blues, and funk, the five members of Papa's Hat share a unique trait: They deeply love and believe in the music that they're making. Their live show is something to behold with intense musical sojurns and upbeat interplay in front of an audience that is so very rare in this day.
This is a band that is on the cusp of something larger than anyone might realize. You can hear it in their music and you can see it in their show.

Together only a year, this trio's sound is rooted firmly in Southern Rock, Blues, and Funk traditions, with occasional musical sojurns that earn them the Jam label. But Grant Reynolds' raspy vocals are never far away, and mainly the Hat just grooves hard, turning beats around until the songs are spinning on their axis.
Our one standing rule is to try and change the set as much as possible to keep ourselves and the audience fresh.
Original songs include:
Lay Down Fool
If You Want To
Reasons For My Behavior
Long Time Gone
Set Me Right
Cross The Line
Cover songs could go on forever, but here are a few:

Tell Me Something Good (Rufus/Khan)
What Is Hip? (Tower Of Power)
The Boys Are Back In Town (Thin Lizzy)
Feelin' Alright (Joe Cocker)
She Said She Said (Beatles)
I'm A Ram (Al Green)
One Way Out (ABB)
Whipping Post (ABB)
On Your Way Down (Touissaint/Little Feat)
