Bio
Rico Muerte may sound like they are from the West Coast but they are actually from Oklahoma City, OK. Rico blends Surf Rock and Garage rock into one.
The three piece Consists of Ricky on Vocals, Gio on bass, and Gian on Drums. The band was introduced in 2008 by a mutual friends and had an instantaneous connection. Gio and Gian have known each other for many years and even attend ACM@UCO in Oklahoma City.
Rico Muerte has played many venues and house parties in Oklahoma City.
After playing a showcase at the conservatory in OKC the band was signed to a record and management deal in June of 2010 by Full Circle Studios.
The band has recorded and EP in their home studio but will be recording a professional EP this summer which will be due out in the fall.
