Andrew has travelled the world, speaks 4 languages, flies a powered-paraglider, rides a unicycle, lives in an RV, is a professional actor, and flies stunt kites. Oh yeah, and he makes music. In 2010 Andrew put his songs in front a group of friends for the first time at a small bar in Alaska, and the result was unanimous - "Get your music out there for the world to hear!"
He draws heavily from acoustic and folk influences such as Joanna Newsom, Over The Rhine, and David Wilcox. He was privileged to work with the highly-acclaimed band Hem as the fiddle player for Shakespeare In The Park's production of Twelfth Night, performing nightly along side Anne Hathaway, Audra MacDonald, and Raul Esparza, just to name a few (NYC, 2009).
His lyrics are clever, funny, and often profound - relying heavily on the juxtaposition of light and dark, the comical and the serious. His voice is unassuming and clear. Where he shines instrumentally is the fiddle. Through the use of live looping he is able to set down the guitar for a fiddle solo or lay down multiple harmonies while performing alone.
His background in theatre, where he has made a living as an actor for nearly 10 years, gives him the poise to stand tall in front of a crowd, read the mood of the audience, and meet them on their terms, delivering what they need at that moment.
