Biography
Russ Wallace otherwise known as 'The Kid' was born on December 1st, 1986. At the age of 2 years old Wallace's family moved to Orange County, CA where his father was from for a few years, before returning home to South Carolina. He grew up listening to rock and rap, but it was not until high school he realized his talent of putting his feelings into a message. Shortly after he began writing lyrics he began rapping. While most were going out on the weekends he dedicated his time to writing and recording. Before he was able to save up to get a recording studio he was rapping out of his closet. Wallace's music is heavily influenced by the band Linkin Park and other artists such as Lupe Fiasco and Eminem. His music centers around hardships inspiration and perseverance. Wallace wants listeners to be moved motivated and encouraged after listening to his music.Recently, Wallace was invited to Atlanta, GA where he met with representatives from SESAC INC and was offered an opportunity to join there publishing services. He stands as a true artist with a successful road ahead of him.

-Was the first mixtape album Wallace was featured in showcasing the artist in 11 of the 15 featured songs. This marked the beginning of what was to come. Wallace starred alongside artists M.A.T.H and SnowMoney.

- The first solo mixtape/album released by Wallace. Marking the first time the audience becomes aquainted with who "The Kid' really is. Listeners are given the opportunity to dive into the artists life, experiences, and goals. Packing a powerful assortment of songs that range from political views to perserverance. "STAR!!!" features 18 songs that never fall short. Every song offers something different then before. Wallace translates his gift of storytelling.with strong lyrics.

-Fresh off the success of "STAR!!!" The Kid returned to the booth with ambitions as high as ever. Spending a year coming up with ideas for the follow-up. This time wallace takes a different approach. From the sampled Stephen Hawking Intro to the end of the catalog where we find the beautiful "Hope Without Love" Wallace challenges his fans and finds ways to ask questions in every song about personal character. Packing 18 amazing songs. Wallace finds himself as more then just another artist. He has become a vocal leader.
