Bio
river underground came together officially in the summer of 2011, though the three musicians have a rich history together. mike and animal were part of the celtic rock group “skraeling” since early 2001, and jamie had played with that group many times over the years. a gig in march 2011 led to the decision to formalize the band and make a recording. the debut album was recorded in the summer and fall of 2011 and will be released in march 2012. the band is planning to tour the east coast in the summer to support the new recording.
