Biography
New to the Canadian music scene, Lexi Tellings pop tracks have been making a reputation on the dance floor for their catchy hooks, soaring vocals, and addictive beats. Combining 1940s glam with burlesque flavour, Lexi Tellings tackles the pop music scene with her tongue-and-cheek lyrics, breathy vocals, and electronic dance beats.
"Basically, what I'm trying to do is create dance music that makes you want to get up and move. You know, jump into experiences with both feet, even if it means getting hurt. I want people to get excited to turn up the radio and roll down the windows and sing at the top of their lungs because they've been there, they've lived it, and they know it. I've always said that music is expression. Don't settle for less."
Fun Facts:
• Lexi is classically trained in Opera.
• She writes most of her music in her sleep (her dreams
have soundtracks which she later records).
• On the set of her first music video, Nirvana, a drunk
woman bypassed security and snuck her way to the catering
table so she could eat a banana.
• Lexi has a dry, British sense of humour... is she boring you yet?
